Description: 
Indo-Pacific Bottlenose dolphins are famous for surfing waves and riding the pressure wave in front of ships and even small boats. Here, several dolphins leap ahead of a container ship leaving Fremantle Port, WA. In cooler temperate waters, this species does not develop the ventral speckling that is seen on populations that reside in warmer tropical waters.
